OLD AMERICAN Secures, 1st ever in History, Bridge to Cloud Contract with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –Wilmington, DE & Newport Beach, CA – December 16, 2016: Old American Incorporated, a uniquely qualified Premiere IBM Business Partner since 1996, has announced its selection as the software-as-a-service (“SAAS”) for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The UNFPA is the lead United Nations (UN) Agency that works in more than 150 countries and territories that are home to the vast majority of the world’s people. Its mission: to ensure that every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled.

Old American shall facilitate the movement of the current UNFPA Global Financial System based on IBM’s Cognos Enterprise Software to the off premises IBM software-as-a-service (“SAAS”) offering. Old American’s expertise and long standing track record was pivotal within the United Nations to ensure a smooth transition to the IBM SAAS offering.

“This is a historic moment that reflects the UN’s future plans to leverage cloud technology adoption in lieu of the self-provisioning of software and hardware assets.” states Joseph Rodriguez, President of Old American Incorporated.
